Dr Raymond Stein was elected to the Board of Directors of the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB)
Thursday, May 20th, 2010Dr Raymond Stein, a cornea and refractive surgery specialist, was elected to the Board of Directors of the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB). The FFB is one of the most established eye charities in Canada founded in 1974 and devoted to funding research into degenerative retinal disorders. Over the past 8 years Dr Raymond Stein and the Bochner Eye Institute have been active in supporting ComicVision, an annual event organized by the FFB, that is held in major cities across Canada. Dr. Raymond Stein is encouraged by the research funded by FFB which has shown major advances in establishing potential cures for vision threatening retinal disorders such as retinitis pigmentosa.
